34x platinum Australian pop band Sheppard returns with "Edge Of The Earth"

March 2024 marks an electrifying moment for fans of Australian pop sensation Sheppard as they return with their latest single, “Edge of the Earth”, accompanied by a visually stunning music video. The dynamic trio, comprising siblings George, Amy, and Emma Sheppard, have once again captured the essence of their boundless creativity and infectious energy in this new release.

Released as their first musical offering of 2024, “Edge of the Earth comes hot on the heels of their previous hits, including the globally acclaimed “Good Time”, the indie-pop anthem “Daylight", and the feel-good groove of “Dance on the Sun”. Each release has solidified Sheppard's reputation as a force to be reckoned with in the pop music scene, in Australia and beyond.

Recorded between the vibrant landscapes of Los Angeles and the band's hometown of Brisbane, “Edge of the Earth” sees Sheppard collaborating with renowned hit-makers Neil Ormandy and Ethan Roberts. The result is a true masterpiece that blends Sheppard's signature anthemic sound with pulsating rhythms and infectious melodies.

Accompanying the single is a colorful music video that transports viewers on a journey through space and time. Directed by Josh Harris from Welcome the Machines and featuring artwork by ARIA-nominated artist Giulia Giannini McGauran, the video shows Sheppard's commitment to delivering captivating visual storytelling alongside their music.

Reflecting on the inspiration behind “Edge of the Earth” and their recent relocation to Nashville, lead vocalist George Sheppard shares, "In an era where fleeting viral moments often overshadow enduring artistry, the value of longevity and a repertoire of memorable songs that resonate deeply with fans becomes immeasurable. For us, 'Edge of the Earth' isn't just another single release. It's a heartfelt anthem that crystalises a pivotal chapter in our lives, inspired by the unwavering support and

trust of our partners who have moved with us to Nashville in support of our dreams. This incredible act of faith and unity is at the heart of 'Edge of the Earth".

Since their move to the United States, Sheppard has been on a whirlwind journey, from performing at the Nashville Predators game to entertaining a crowd of 20,000 fans at the National Rugby League Fan Fest in Vegas. With plans for more performances and an upcoming tour, the band shows no signs of slowing down as they continue to captivate audiences worldwide.
