Reflecting on the song’s creation, Alanna said, “Written in the first year of the pandemic, this song faces the reality of being a small independent artist in a world shut down and locked away. Inspired by the final line in the movie ‘Judy’, I was lamenting what my lasting impression would be on the world if this was the end of my artistic journey.”
