B.K.W.H Unveils Highly-Anticipated Album 'Beckwith'


UK-based R&B artist B.K.W.H, also known as Beckwith, is set to dominate 2024 with the release of his highly-anticipated new album, Beckwith. Fresh off the cover of Blues & Soul magazine, B.K.W.H’s latest offering features his two UK Top 40 hits ‘You’re That Kind of Girl’ (#29) and ‘Be There’ (#37).


Beckwith shows B.K.W.H’s impeccable lyrical skill and songwriting success, featuring five UK Top 10 R&B songs. The album opens with ‘You’re That Kind of Girl’, a fresh slice of classic new jack swing produced by Jimmy Antony and featuring a rap cameo from Motown Gold-selling M.C Brains. With over one million Spotify streams, this track sets a high bar.


‘Be There’, another chart-topper, features the legendary Keith Murray, whose iconic ad-libs tie the song to his previous classics. B.K.W.H’s dream collaboration with Murray adds a personal touch to the track, making it a standout.


Other highlights include ‘Can’t Beat the Weekend’, a modern class two-step sound that topped the UK R&B iTunes chart, and ‘Soulful Women’, a tribute to legendary female R&B singers. ‘All My Love’ draws inspiration from Jimmy Jam and Terry Lewis, and New Edition, offering a nostalgic yet fresh sound.

‘Without You’, self-produced and featuring Kool G Rap, blends soul and ‘80s hip-hop, while ‘Everyday’ offers a Pete Rock/Mobb Deep-inspired sound with a vocal performance praised by Marvin Ambrosius. The album’s funk flavor is further enhanced by ‘Get Down’, featuring Ghostface Killah from Wu-Tang Clan.
