Hailing from East Somerset, The Entitled Sons are a dynamic family band made up of Charlie (vocals), Rafferty (guitar), Billy (keys), Laurie (drums), and their dad Graham (bass). Since their debut single ‘Break’ in 2022, they’ve been on a meteoric rise, gaining traction on BBC Introducing and national radio stations like BBC Radio Bristol and BBC Somerset.
Fresh from their performance at Glastonbury Festival 2023, where they won the Pilton Competition, The Entitled Sons are back with ‘Jocelyn’. This modern-day anthem, reminiscent of ‘Stacey's Mom’, tells the intriguing tale of an affair with an older woman, penned from one band member’s real-life experience.
Produced by Shadow Hands at Cornwall's CUBE Studios, ‘Jocelyn’ features a vibrant blend of electric guitar, synth, drums, bass, and keys, paired with energetic vocals. It’s a seamless mix of pop rock, new rock, and indie rock that’s bound to get stuck in your head.
The band cheekily notes, “Erm. It’s about sleeping with your friend’s mum. Yes, we have changed the names! But we would like to say that no homes were wrecked.”
With a full festival schedule and an Autumn Tour of the UK from September to November, The Entitled Sons are set to make major waves in the music scene. Keep an eye on their tour dates and get ready to experience their electrifying performances live.
